Day 9: 01_03_07

Another good day for questing :) I think that it is going to be a good day today!

I flew to Menethil Harbor in Wetlands as I wanted to visit Theramore and DustWallow Marsh again. I was looking for a guy called Private Theramore I think he was involved in something quite serious but I am not sure what he did but I couldn't find him. I ran around for ages through the Marshes and had to kill quite a few raptors, spiders and crocolisks that I ran into. Some guy in SW had given me the wrong co-ordinates!

In Theramore I picked up a quest to get some turtle tongues for some guys soup recipe - didn't sound too hard so I thought I would give it a go. Hard a hard time finding the turtles! It took me ages to get one tongue! Then Sweed joined me and we smashed some turtle shells! I was very lucky and soon I had all eight tongues I needed one after the other.

Sooper joined us with his new pet 'ThunderCat' and we rushed around killing turtles until we all had 8 tongues. We saw a shark but luckily we didn't have to fight it but we did have to deal with some tiresome Murlocks. While we were fighting turtles Sooper pretended to be dead it scared us pretty bad at first until we realised that he was faking it - naughty Little Fella!

We all went to find Private Hendel - luckily Sooper had a run in with him a few days ago and so Sooper led us straight too him. It was easy to subdue him and his tough friends ran away, I thought it was because they saw Sooper's face but actually it was because Lady Proudmore and her entourage had turned up to arrest Hendel. They were very nice to us and gave us all gold and a ring as a reward - I like Lady Proudmore she is a very nice person ;)

We all went to hand in the turtle quest and received some nice XP. Sweed was tired after fighting the turtles and private Hendel so he went to sleep. Sooper and I got a quest to kill Crabs in the Swamp of Sorrows. We decided to do it. Sooper said that he knew the way.

We ran through Dead Wind Pass and into the Swamp of Sorrows. It was a scary looking place. We met PaulDavid who was in the area he had something to show us. We ran through the marsh and encountered all manner of monsters. I nearly died when I was waylaid by about 6 creatures at once but luckily Paul killed them all with the help of Sooper and Wolfy!

There was some very very scary Monsters, level 44 ScaleBane Captains! I never seen something so freaky, but Paul seemed to be killing one after the other so it was okay ;)

We got to a place called the Pool of Tears and swam to a structure in the middle of the lake. It was called the Temple of Atal Hakkar - it was a very eerie place. We ran and then swam into an underground area and were attacked by a huge cobra and we all died!

Sooper was tired and so he hearthed out to sleep -_- I hope that he didn't have any nightmares about the scary swamp! I continued on with Paul looking for the crabs to kill for the quest. I was looking for 12 pristine crawler legs. We encountered some more Scalebane Captains and also an Elder Dragon Kin (level 45).

In an place called Sorrow Murk we saw a large dragon called Somnus (an ?? elite)

We got to the coast and after a problem with some overexcitable murlocks we started to attack crabs for their meat. The crabs were quite tough creatures but the job was soon done and I had all 12 legs. We called it a night - it has been a very busy but exciting day!

I hearthed to SW and sold all my drops, repaired my weapons and almost missed the bank which closed a few minutes after I left, I was their last customer of the day!
