Day 16: 08_03_07

I met up with Sweed at Arathi Refugee Point. Sweed helped me to complete the first part of the 'Princess Trapped' quest. We fought some Dry Whisker Kobolds in a mine to get 12 Motes of Mzyrael and then used them to activate a floating stone. We got another quest to help to try to release Princess Mzyrael. We went to meet Sooper and passed Hammerfall - we popped in for a look and got slaughtered by some very high level ogres.

Team Sooper started off to try to complete the second part of the Princess Trapped quest. We had to kill a range of different exiles at the three main stone circles in Arathi and collect keys from the magic stones in the centre of each ring. We then had to fight our way into the main stone circle through some rumbling exiles to activate the end of the quest.

We hearthed to StormWind and took the Dwarf Deep Run Tram to Iron Forge. We had decided to try to do Gnomeragan with the three of us. We got into Gnomeragan quite easily. We worked with a night elf priest called Vorlon who helped to put up our health. I wanted to wash all the grim encrushed objects and the ring from the back door of Gnomeragan. So that was good. I also managed to collect some radioative ooze from the centre of Gnomeragan. Sooper and Sweed left and I escorted Vorlon out of Gnomeragan. We went fast and I hit the troggs hard. It was quite easy until I got mobbed by 4 or 5 but still managed to do it with Vorlon frantically trying to raise my health when it dropped.

I ran to IronForge and handed in some quests. I flew to Menethil Harbor and took a boat to Theramore. I flew to Ratchet and ran across the Barrens. I got killed by a Tauren at the CrossRoads. I saw a heard of deer running along and also a giraffee too - cuuuuuuuute ;)

I got to the entrance to StoneTalon Mountains but I couldn't get through as there was a border post that was guarded by very high level taurens :( Luckily a guy on a horse turned up. he ignored me but it was obvious he was going to try to use the speed of his horse to charge through the gate way of the border hoping that he would get through. He started off and I ran behind the horse. As he was going through the tauren focused on him and the horse and chased him. I ran to the right and up a steep embankment. I hid and waited and then I sneaked through the bushes and joined the road into StoneTalon further up. I had got through - miracle!

I killed some Charred Ancients and Pridewing Consorts - pretty freaky creatures :( In StoneTalon I found some young, fledging and matriarch Chimaera (two headed dragons) and I killed them for fangs. I could only get 11 or 12 fangs. I ran into Desolace to try to find some more but to no avail :( I will have to come back sometime for the missing fang :( I hearthed to StormWind.
