Day 37: 29_03_07

I woke up in SouthShore and wondered what was going on. I remembered that I had been too tired to make my way back last night. I rode to Dalaran when I had finally asked a few folks to find out where it was. It was surprisingly easy to get there but it was very dark last night so I must have taken a wrong turn in Hillsbrad Foothills. After the quest in Dalaran was handed in I hearthed back to SW and went to the Auction House. I put many auctions in the auction house in an attempt to make some money from all the farming of leathers I had done the other day. I put quite a lot of items up for auction and not just the leather.

I took the tram to IronForge and met Sweed there in the Military ward where there are alot of quests revolving about equipping the alliance troops for a war effort! I am still not sure who they will be fighting yet but no doubt some horde troublemakers.

Sweed wanted me to go to the Hinterlands. He flew there and I flew to South Shore and then rode North East to join him. I liked the Hinterlands all green and forested. Also alot of wild gryphons flying around! I got a new flight path at aerrie peak. We were joined by Sooper who had been mining and we picked up some quests from the locals.

We firstly had to kill Mangy Wolves and then the stronger silvermane wolves. We occasionaly had to get rid of any owl beasts who wandered into the way. They are fat and clumsy creatures but quite fierce opponents and also strangely cute ;)

We had to find 3 witherbark troll cages and get a load of their necklaces and we also had to kill the witch doctor Mai' Jin.

We accepted a quest that was labelled red - whoooooo dangerous! But we did ok to kill the jade oozes and the green sludge oozes. It was a challenge in some places though - especially on top of skulk rock where we got mobbed by a large number of oozes. When we had finished them we were left standing knee deep in sticky green ooze. We did have an extra group member in the shape of Inos (a paladin!).

I had a little nap on a handy hammock!

We hearthed to SW and everyone went to sleep. I flew to Ironforge to give in an army supply quest and then went to sleep in a shop in IronForge - I was too tired to find the inn but had to sleep on the uncomfortable stone floor :(

Day 36: 28_03_07

Today wasn't a particularly interesting day. I woke up late and I flew to Thelsamar and rode into the Badlands. I saw a note that was jammed under a stone near the Uldaman Summoning Stone telling me that Sooper and Sweed had already entered Uldaman with some guildies.

I decided that I would go to StrangleThorn Vale. I flew from Thelsamar to Darkshire and rode south into StrangleThorn Vale. I gave in some quests at the Rebel Camp for the smallest amount of XP possible and then I rode to where the Elder MistVale Gorillas live. I totally decimated all the gorillas in the area and farm over 100 Thick and Heavy Leather patches. I also killed Naga, Raptors, Zombies and Zanzil Trolls.

I hearthed to SW and flew to SouthShore and tried to ride to Dalaran. I got lost and made my way back to SouthShore. I was too tired to make my way back to StormWind so I decided to crash at the Inn in SouthShore for the night!

Day 35: 27_03_07

Today wasn't a very busy day. I travelled to StrangleThorn Vale through Duskwood. I killed some Water Elementals to get their bracers. I met up with Sweed in Booty Bay and we both both parrots (mine is a cockatiel) I got the beige coloured one. The parrots are very nice :)

It's along way down - aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

We met Sooper and went to look at the Arena but kept getting killed by horde baddies :(

We completed some easy quests, "Second Rebellion" and "Bad Medicine" in a camp that was around a lake. Sweed went to sleep back in Booty Bay and Sooper and I flew to Thelsamar and rode into Badlands. We tried to complete the "Power Stones" quest by collecting the stones that the dwarves we killed dropped but we didn't manage to get them all.

Day 34: 26_03_07

Today was a quiet day of questing. I met Sweed outside the Guilded Rose and we flew to Booty Bay in StrangleThorn Vale. Sweed helped me to complete the Bloodsail Bucanner's quest. We both had to retrieve important documents that the pirates and their mages were guarding in some camps on line the coast to the east of Booty Bay. We fought our way into one camp to get some documents and then into another. It was quite a challenge but much easier for two to do rather than one. With Sweed's help we both managed to complete the quest - hooray!

Sweed showed me how to search for green bottles that wash up on the beach around Stranglethorn. There were a few bottles lying on the beach and some have nice items inside!

In Booty Bay we were joined by Sooper and we met up with another from the FellowShip of the Dragon Woodster. We went out into the forest north of Booty Bay to kill Elder Mistvale Gorillas and to get their fangs for the Witch Doctor who lives in the caves out there. After we had returned with the fangs we were assaulted by two waves of gorillas who stormed into the Witch Doctor's cave. We barely survived and I managed to get away using my Nifty Stop Watch :)
We did complete the quest though and managed to get some XP.

Ding Ding Ding Level 45 - I got to level 45 during the process of killing the first few gorillas!

We all hearthed to SW. I saw that there were 4 level 70's riding into StormWind and so I called out to Sooper and Woodster to come to the Keep. It would be the second time I would see level 70's try to kill the purple dragon in the Keep - but this time there were four of them and they managed to kill the dragon elite guards and complete the Keep quest. We all joined in the attack and I managed to get a free 1000 XP or so from hitting the dragon elite guards as they focused on their level 70 opponents ;) Sneaky!

Day 33: 25_03_2007

Today was quite a simple day. Unfortunately I could find Sweed and I didn't meet up with Sooper even though the Little Fella was around :( I hope to see them tommorrow :)

I focused on two quite simple quest areas - the first was to kill Baron Vardas in the hills behind Strahnbrad. I eventually found him in the fourth camp along through the hills - I had it on good autority that he moves around a fair bit and so he is difficult to track down! I got his head eventually and returned it to South Shore for a hefty reward of one gold piece - hooray :)

I flew to Booty Bay and managed to complete about 5 quest there from killing Elder Mountain Gorillas for their giblets (33/63), collecting Voodue Dues (35/53 - 40/58) and messing up the operation of the Bloodsail Bucaneers (26/82 - 29/82 - 27/83). I got all that I needed apart from I couldn't prize the Bucaneers plans away from them as a bucaneer, mage and succubus were hard to beat the three of them at once but I hope to beat them eventually ;)

I think there was less to tell of epic proportion as Team Soop was two members short today!

Day 32: 24_03_07

I did a lot today! I guess I must have been feeling energetic or something. I got up early and went into Elwynn Forest and did lots of mining and smelting (Goldshire). I also practiced with my single handed sword and shield to try to bring my sword level up! I have managed to get my mining skill to 75 in a few days so not too bad - it is now the same level as my leather working used to be so I havn't lost anything!

I flew into Thelsamar and was about to go to Badlands to give in a Gyrochronatom to end a quest but bumped into ArelDrich. He had a pet SnowShoe rabbit so I asked him where he got it! He took me to the farm and I bought my own rabbit of a little girl there! It was good to get the rabbit.

Areldrich asked if I wanted to go into Scarlet Monastry. It as a great opportunity to try to work on 'Bring the Light' and so I went along. We were joined by RavenCroft and also Lilliput and Uffi. We went into an area of SM that I had never been in before! We had to clear alot of baddies out of the main monastry building before we could go in. Uffi opened a secret passage at the back of the monastry and well killed a high level baddy. Then we had to challenge the leader of the monastry. We killed him but then his protector ressurected him so we had to fight her and the leader together. Eventually we were the winners and half of my quest was complete.

As soon as we finished I got a message by pidgeon from Glandir asking for my help in Uldaman to kill the final boss! I accepted and travelled to meet Glandir and his group (Eldrid, Palax, Glandir and Yavanna). We rushed into Uldaman and there was a lot of fighting and we didnt go slow. There were three warriors in the group so there was no waiting around and pulling we just dove into the fight while Palax tried to keep up our health! We took on the big boss eventually and got mobbed by so many protectors but we survived and destroyed the boss. I was lucky to get a 50 armour ring as a drop from the boss. In the room behind him was a quest about information discs. I collected the disks for delivery to IronForge. I tried to run out of Uldaman with Glandir and Eldrid but died.

I asked the Spirit Healer to ressurected me but got ressurection sickness :( I ran to complete the quest in Badlands and had a hard time fighting coyotes and buzzards on the way with my sickness :( I got to the quest giver and activated the quest, 'This is Going to Be Hard' and tried to beat the Rock Elemental that was summoned. I couldn't do it with the sickness. I died and ran back to my body and came back to life. I healed myself and waited for the sickness to wear off. Luckily two NightElves appeared and helped me to beat the Rock Elemental. I handed in the quest and received the 'Nifty Stop Watch' which enables me to run 40% faster for 15 seconds so that will get me out of some difficult positions in the future no doubt!

I travelled to IronForge to give in the Uldaman quest and received massive levels of XP and a 14 Slot Bag. I was very pleased with the new bag as more storage space is always a big use to me as there are always lots of drops to carry. I am working on increasing the size of my bank and my bag amount :)

I flew to Thelsamar and rode into Badlands again to give in yet another quest. Then I flew to Menethil Harbor and took the boat the Theramore. I was with Sweed again and we rode to Thousand Needles and on to Tanaris - which I had never been too before. We rode to the south to the 'gaping chasm' which looked very scary indeed. Then we rode into Un' Goro Crater which was luch and verdant rain forest but equally scary because of the scary strong monsters! Sweed and I then rode to Zul Farrak - so spooky! It was an interesting site seeing tour! Sweed left because he wasn't feeling well - I think that him and Sooper had been drinking too many beers earlier in the day!

I used my hearthstone to SW and flew to Darkshire to give in a quest. I got another quest to go into the Badlands - so I rode there. I managed to find it and I hadn't been there before either. I got to the big Keep there and managed to find the flight path! Sooper joined me and we tried to kill some of the hard monsters in Badlands but we didn't bother for long it was quite hard! We flew to Booty Bay and gathered some quests. We handed in some basic quests for low XP and then tried to find and kill some Elder Mist Gorilla's for their giblets but didn't find any.

I blacked out and when I came around from fainting I was lying in the middle of the StrangleThorn forest with a dead gorilla next to me. I hearthed to SW and went to sleep!

Day 31: 23_03_07

I did some mining and flew to SouthShore. I rode to Alterac Ruins. I needed to buy some Frost Oil for a quest and it was rumoured that there was a little goblin who sells the oil on the castle walls! He was there, his name is Bro'kin (38/38). He didn't have any when I arrived but I waited for 5 minutes and a new shipment arrived. I bought some health potions too while I was there.

I hearthed to SW and then flew to Thelsamar in Loch Modan. I rode into Badlands and gave in two quests - I went to kill a bad gnoll named 'Murdaloc' and 12 of his BoneSnapper protectors (50/66). I ran into the entrance to Uldaman and managed to find 4 Urns for a quest also. I hearthed to SW.

I meet Sweed, Sooper, mageDraenai and Lennard. We flew to Menethil harbor and took the boat to Theramore. We ran into the Barrens and south to RazorFen Downs. All the baddies in the instance were quite tough and there were some elites. I tried to focus on the elites as they were like killing WarMongers one on one so I knew I could take out the hardest of the enemies. We rushed through and didn't really take it slow. We killed a baddy called Glutton (lvl 40 elite) who looked like Stitches (Darkshire) brother but green! We got to the end of RazorFen Downs after spiralling up and up to the centre. We managed to kill the end boss who was quite tough but who had no protection mobs so it was pretty easy for five of us!

Mage created a portal to SW and we all jumped through! I went to my Warrior Trainer and spent 7 gold and then I travelled to Dust Wallow Marsh and spent ages trying to find the house of a woman which was out in the middle of nowhere! I got there eventually and I did get a quest for Zul'Farrak so that was good, Tabetha's task - it was a spooky place to live (46/57).

After I got back to SW I went to the Auction House and bid on some Gyrochronatom's for a quest in Badlands (there was 8 in a pack and I only wanted one).

ULDAMAN RUN

All of my questing time for today was in Uldaman in Badlands - PaulDavid and MageDranei joined 'Team Soop' for fun adventures and questing in Uldaman. It was pretty intense and we got to the final boss! but didn't manage to defeat him!

Day 28: 20_03_07

I started my questing late today :( and only focused on two quests but it was a productive time.

I met Sweed quite soon and then Sooper joined us not long after that. We went into StrangleThorn Vale and I was after collecting all the GreenHills Pages of StrangleThorn book that were scattered around on the trolls that have temples in the North Western area of STV.

The quest can be collected from the Nesingwary's Expedition (35/10). I only needed about 6 more pages as I had tons in the bank or in my bags. I managed to get all but the last two with Sweed and Sooper's help and at the expensive of several hundred trolls ;)

In the end we sort of gave up and hearthed back to SW - but the pages were available to buy in the Auction House and so I bought the two I needed and Sweed gathered his up and then we flew with Sooper back to Darkshire - where Sooper went to sleep. Sweed and I continued on a ride into STV and to the camp to give in the pages. Quest Completed. Sweed rode off to find an Inn to sleep in.

I decided that I wanted to finish the Akiris by the Bundle quest which was to get some plants that the Nagas often have on them (26/62 in STV). I ran south towards Booty Bay and the Naga's area. I had to work hard to grind out the Akiris as the drops were pretty slow. After I got all 10 I ran into Booty Bay to give the Akiris to Privateer Bloads (26/76) and I got enough XP to level up - Wow Level 43! Going along nicely!

I hearthed back to SW and saw two guys playing throw and catch with a ball. I asked to join in and we threw the ball backwards and forwards amongst it - it was lots of fun.

Uldaman tommorrow with PaulDavid and the gang should be fun ;)

Day 27: 19_03_07

I flew to Arathi Refugee Point and rode over to Faldir's cove. I had some unfinished business with the Daggerspines there and I had to avenge the killing of Shake's O'Breen's crew. I killed raider's and soceresses so hopefully the Captain's ship will be able to make sail again soon.

I was talking to the captain and suddenly he urgently requested me to get on deck and fire the ship's main cannon at the direction of the cove as enemies had been seen in the distance. I rushed to the to cannon and fired ten times. It seemed to quell the unrest felt by the crew and disrupt the enemy. Sweed and Sooper joined me and we hunted for gems for Sweed.

After the cove we ran around with Sooper hunting for mines that he wanted to sell in the Auction House - I think he might have been making Mithril Bars (used in plate armour).

I advertised a Formula Enchant Shield that I had found for free to my guild - Sparticuss was the quickest to reply and so I posted the enchantment to him. He likes things like that!

Sweed and Sooper both lvled up tonight - Well Done! I think there is some rivarly ;)

I nipped to IronForge to see my warrior trainer and then flew to Booty Bay to join Sweed and Sooper who had gone ahead. They were interested in helping me take the boat and kill Captain StillWater to get his scroll (32/88) We killed the top deck pirates and Brutus - the ships driver! But we couldn't reach the Captain easily and were heavily mobbed. Sweed hearthed to SW to sleep and I went to SW too. Sooper also went to sleep but then found he couldn't sleep well so he got back up and continued questing!

I flew to Menethil Harbor and took the boat to Theramore. I rode North and spent some time killing Murlocs for their heads to finish an old quest called 'Hungry' issued to me by an ogre near Brackenwell Village (36/38 - is his location - I got badly lost trying to find him again!) I decided to sleep in the Inn in Theramore as I was very tired after all the questing today ;)
