Day 47: 08_04_07

I flew to the Hinterlands. I wanted to kill some Owl Beasts! Not because it is fun to kill them and that they should be killed cos they walk funny but because I wanted to complete a geniune quest ;) I probably could have done it with minimum owl casualities but I managed to end up killing most of them! I was looking for 'wildkin' feathers that were dropped around the area - I got the 15 that I needed :)

I tried to find a temple to recover 5 stolen gryphon eggs that the witherbarks had taken! I fought a few trolls on the altars there, recovered the eggs and also found the body of the dwarf Featherbeard :) Things had gone well so far. I flew to Menethil Harbor and took the boat to Theramore and flew to Gadgetzan in Tanaris :)

I met up with Lady Proudmoore in Theramore for some freshly brewed tea and scones ;)

I had got a quest the other day to look for Gahz'ridian ornaments that were buried in the sand of Tanaris. I had to wear a very strange looking radar hat in order that I could find the ornaments! It was such a strange hat and I was glad to chuck it away as soon as possible after the quest was finished :) I had to get 30 of the ornaments so it took a while, most of them where buried in and around ruins in the south of Tanaris which was populated by some Ogres. I wasn't going to let a few ogres get in the way of my collection of the ornaments so they were swiftly dispatched ;)

Ding Ding Ding Lvl 50 - I levelled up when I handed in the ornaments quest! It is a bit of a milestone Level 50 in some way LOL Well not really! It sounds better than 49! I am looking forward to Level 58 and Outlands :) The powers that be won't let anyone through the DarkPortal into Outlands until they have enough experience! I guess that is wise! They don't want a lot of dead! Still I would like to take a peep into the portal - just for a few seconds ;)

I rode into Un'Goro Crater. I was a bit frightened at first but then I worked out that there wasn't anything dangerous in the muddy looking water of the rivers so I used them as roads to stay away from the raptors and scary freaky flower monsters ;) I saw the volcano in the middle of the crater. I was looking for soil samples from the crater and they were hard to come by. In the north of Un'Goro I fought a few tar creepers to get some tar for a quest and found a dwarf woman that was sad because she had lost her mechanical gorilla - I said that I would keep an eye out for it! I found my way to Marshall's refuge in the mountains to the north of Un'Goro! The flight path will be useful for later as I can get to Un'Goro fast now :) There was a cave full of bright shining jewels at the refuge. I searched for sprouts and power crystals too.

I met Sweed at Marshalls refuge and we flew to Gadgetzan. We rode south to look for Cuergo's Gold and we managed to find and collect the treasure - but not without some fighting ;) We HS to SW and then flew to Booty Bay in STV.

We went to try to find the tauren princess 'Poobah'. We found her but we couldn't release her until the huge gorilla 'King Mukla' had been defeated. We tried to beat the King twice (Lvl 51 Elite) but we couldn't manage it - he seemed to somehow last longer than expected!

We gave up and managed to complete the quests, Strangethorn Fever, Zombie Dues and Zanzil Mixture that Sweed hadn't already completed.

We handed in the quests for Sweed in Booty Bay. Sweed went to sleep and I flew to Darnassus to hand in the WildKin Feather quest and the Un'Goro Soil quest! I HS to SW and went to sleep - it had been a busy but fun day!!!

Don't let anyone tell you that Night Elves don't have a sense of humour ;) Thats got to give that gryphon a headache!
