Day 6: 26_02_07

This morning I started my part time job washing dishes in the kitchen of the Lion Pride Inn in Goldshire. I earn a few extra coppers but it is boring work and my hands looked like prunes after several hours! So I was happy when it was time to leave the Inn and go back to Storm Wind to start questing. I know a part time job isn't glamourous but a warrior has got to pay their way in the world and the cheese shop have just raised their prices on my favourite types of cheese! So working part time will do for now! Cool Beans ;)

I went to the Park in SW and looked around the Lunar Festival again and set off two free rockets I had picked up somewhere - pretty good light show! I am trying to collect coins of ancestory as part of my quests at the Lunar Festival. I used the Festival Invitation to teleport to Moonglade. I ran north and found Valadar StarSong in NightHaven. Then back to Moonglade. I worked out that there were different moonlights shining on different races I decided to teleport to Ironforge as I hadn't been there yet. I got there and talked to a dwarf and got a coin (4 now) I teleported back to Moonglade and then hearthed out to SW as it was taking too long!

I bumped into PaulDavid outside the Auction House. He suggested Scarlet Monastry but we ended up going to Uldaman - it was interesting to be going to see a new area :) I didn't know what to expect. A few others joined the group Sparticuss, Bryon and Mavedor. Before we went to Uldaman Paul showed me that there was a Level 70 Night Elf riding into SW on their mount. It was interesting to see the high level player - they seemed to be highly respected by the city guards and appeared to have an entourage of players around them plus many curious onlookers!

The Level 70 ('Avatar') was going to SW Keep and so we went there as well something appeared to be about to happen! We waited in the keep and could see the young 'stand in king' The level 70 player walked in and talked with the king and nobles. Someone read a scroll with dragon language on it and a huge purple dragon appeared in the center of the room, it appeared to call a huge loads of smaller dragon guards and they mobbed the level 70, the purple dragon disappeared. It looked like an intense fight. I ran over to help and got killed instantly - Paul David got in a few strikes and I think Bryon too ended up at the grave yard. It was very interesting to see the high level quest in action :)

We took the dwarf deep run tram to Ironforge and then flew to Loch Modan. There were some dwarfs around the entrance to the caves that had to be disposed off. The place seemed to be crawling with Troggs too! We went through some sandy underground tunnels and into the instance and entered the 'Hall of Keepers'. There were a lot of high level troggs inside and we often seemed to get hit by 4 to 6 at once it was quite intense. We got to a locked door PaulDavid opened it and it slowly opened green light flooding out from the room behind. Out of the room emerged a huge golden woman whose clothes looked vaguely egyptian. We had to battle hard to kill this boss! Her name was Ironaya - 40 Elite! After the kill Bryon had to leave and so we all hearthed out to SW.

I flew to Arathi Refugee Camp and joined Sweed and Sooper who had been fighting in the Arathi Basin Battle Ground (instance). Sooper went to sleep and PaulDavid joined us. Sweed and I fought in the battle ground for a short while. I killed two combat pets and died about 8 times myself. It was interesting fighting the others but many of the horde were lvl 40 so I didn't stand much of a chance! I got some kind of medal for participating in the fighting :)

We joined PaulDavid in Dunholde Keep and made some very easy kills for a few coppers. We ran through the forests of Hillsbrad and PaulDavid showed me the cummulation of the Warrior Quest. I have to go to Fray Island first to learn 'Beserker Stance'. As we ran through the forest to the North we came across a large dragon hovering in a clearing - it killed Sweed then flew away. The dragon was a 44 Elite!

We killed Baron Vardes in his encampment surrounded by high level assasins. The baron was a lvl 40 so he was quite tough. We kept hitting encampments until we got to a house. Inside was a large ogre called Nagaz - we managed to kill him but almost died upstairs where there were four tough looking fighters!

In Alterac Ruins we manged to kill around 8 Crushridge Warmongers for PaulDavid to finish his quest and ours was half completed. It wasn't too tough with the three of us working together!

Sweed went to sleep and so I hearthed back to SW and did some selling, banking and repairing before the shops and bank closed ;) I rushed to the Guilded Rose and dove into bed!

Time Finished: 3 am
Total Time Questing: 6 1/2 hrs
