Day 56: 16_04_07

I flew to the Burning Steppes with PaulDavid. Paul wanted to help me to kill Black Drakes, Wyrmkins, Dragonspawn and Broodlings! The Black Drakes are the most impressive especially when they shoot fire from their mouths - fantastic but deadly for just me! Paul had no trouble bringing down a Black Drake or a Wyrmkin. Archimedes joined us and we killed dragons and their offspring for awhile. Archimedes left and then PaulDavid flew off to learn some more first aid!

I HS to SW to learn some Alchemy as I think that would be cool to be able to make my own health potions ;) I sure need them! I also travelled to Darnassus to buy more seeds to cultivate extra morrowgrain - its an okay way to improve reputation with Darnassus! But time consuming :(

I travelled to Azshara in Kalimdor as I wanted to try to complete a quest but I spent ages looking for the baddies and couldnt find them :( Boooo0 But I did find a flight path to the south of Felpaw Village which looks very useful indeed :) I flew to FeatherMoon Stronghold on the island off the coast of Feralas to give in some morrowgrain - they are crazy for it over there ;)

I met Sweed and we went to kill Yeti's on the Feralas main land - Sweed insisted on swimming over to the mainland and not to use the boat! I was a bit soggy for awhile :( We heard that the last officer in the Guild had left so we hoping now for the guild leaders return so hopefully someone else can get some guild admin abilities so that we can revive the guild a bit!

Sweed and I grouped with NecroSlayer, Aragonn and Denoad. It was hard work getting to Mauradon. We summoned the rest of the group and went into Mauradon. As we were fighting in there everything started to slow down and spin I felt all dizzy and fainted! When I woke up I was in the Guilded Rose in SW! I slept again straight away! I think that I might have over done it today!

Day 51: 12_04_07

I woke up in the island inn and took a boat back to the main land and travelled to twin colossals where I suspected Gregan Brewspewer might be hiding and gave him a blood petal, he seemed pleased.

I HS to SW and flew to Plaguelands. I received some quests at the alliance camp. I enterd Sorrow Hill close to the camp and tried to kill skeletel flayers and slavering ghouls, it was hard especially as I had run out of arrows.

I met Sweed who was in the area visiting his uncle and he helped me to continue to remove the evil from sorrow hill. We saw that there was a little dwarf who was in trouble. He asked us for help saying that he was lost. We helped him to find the alliance camp. So, he could fly to safety. The little dwarf reminded me of little fella, my dwarf friend, Sooper. We flew to MH and travelled to Ashenvale and rode to Azshara for the first time and found flightpath there :)

Sweed wanted to complete the quest that we had been given in IF to take some rubbings of ancient temples. It was a difficult challenge as we were attacked by many Highbourne ghosts.

When we had completed the quest, we had to call a helicopter to meet us to collect the rubbings. Sweed fired a flare gun to attract the helicopter, I thought he was letting off a firework.

Then we explored the forest and saw Felwood (where there was some big trees monsters), Jaedenar and the bloodvenom falls.

We HS to SW and went to sleep.

Day 50: 11_04_07

I started on a demanding task to kill BloodPetal Flower Monsters in Un'Goro Crater (most were level 53 - tough!) I was looking for the petals they drop. It took about 90 mins to finish off the flower monsters add avoid the other monsters and elites in the area (especially the DevilSaur which I had to run from more than once) I did level up though ;)

Ding Ding Ding Level 51 - only 7 more levels until Outland :)

I flew to Gadgetzan to use the bank, sell and repair - I had gathered up all the powerstones I had collected in Un'Goro and flew back to Un'Goro to give in the powerstones quest to the little gnome in the cave in Marshall's refuge. The gnome was a greedy little guy and wasn't happy just the crystals, he wanted me to investigate some pylons that were located in the mountains to the North, East and West of the crater. I had to find them and report details back to him. Well, easier said than done when the place is crawling with hostiles :(

I got to the North and East pylons with little trouble but the Western pylon was a challenge. I had to ride chestnut mare fast through the myriad of beasties that lived in the West and hope my speed would be too great, I did ok until I got stunned and fell from the horse luckily I managed to roll on impact with the ground and come into battle stance and managed to kill my assailants :) The location of the pylons are 56/12 (North) 77/49 (East) and 23/58 (West).

I went to Marshall Refugee to hand in the quest and then fly to Darnassus also to hand in the quest. Then I HS to Stormwind to meet Sweed. He said that he would help me to find Feralas. I got my warrior quest there. I travelled with Sweed to Feralas but I couldn't find then man that I supposed to meet. We took a boat to an island of the coast of Feralas. We explored for a while and bumped into Glandir, he told us that he was living in exile from his guild (STORMBRINGER). I decided to sleep in the inn there.

Day 49: 10_04_07

I travelled to gadgetzan and then flew to Un'Goro Crater and killed Tar Creepers, Oozes and Gorillas - I get the feeling that I will be spending a gr8 deal of my time in Un'Goro over the next few days! Even though it is still scary :( The Tar Creepers where holding sticky tar that I needed for a quest - it took awhile to get it and lot of risk, but I did complete it!

I travelled to Gadgetzan and gave in the quest. I met Sweed who had been looking for the Ogre again! I think the Ogre is proving elusive! We HS to SW as we wanted to travel to the Swamp Of Sorrows to start the first part of 'Cortello's Chest' We would have to locate two more missing parchments with riddles on them in order to complete the quest and find the prize!

In the Swamp of Sorrows we found a riddle parchment in a bottle jammed under a bridge. The riddle suggested we seek the next parchment in DustWallow Marsh! We travelled to Nethergarde Keep to start the journey on the Gryphons. I saw a cave that we hadn't explored before and we went in. The cave was massive and looked mostly like a mine. We didn't go all the way through the cave to find out what was inside as it seemed too big. We travelled to Theramore and rode into DWM. The second parchment was hidden in a cave in a clearing full of Raptors! Captain StillWater certainly knew how to hide parchments in the most dangerous places ;)

The last part was in the Hinterlands. Once in the Hinterlands we decided to find a mushroom that was a quest item, but it was so easy to find at the bottom of a very small lake in the centre of the Hinterlands. We found that the chest would b in a pool of water at the base of a huge waterfall. I was lucky Sweed was around as he gave me an invincibility potion and we jumped from the top of the waterfall! It was the fastest way to get there! What a long way down! Whhheeeeeeeeeeeeee! The treasure chest was underwater as we managed to get some goods from it but most useful from a practical point of view was a 14 slot bag :) Hooray!

We travelled to Gadgetzan to hand in the mushroom quest and I was given a potion! I foolishly drank it and turned into a skeleton! :( I looked scary as a skeleton and was worried that it might be a permanent weight loss program! But it wore off! It was interesting that as a skeleton I was so much lighter so I jumped and danced and played the air guitar!

We flew to Un'Goro and killed flower beasts for ages to get some petals but the drop rate was mega low -but it was fun to kill them though. We also had to save a paladin who was wandering around the crater too quite a few times!

We saw a high level trying to kill a 'DevilSaur' a huge Tyranosaurus and we rushed to help! It was massive and was taking ages to die! We did our best to assist and soon it was killed! We flew to Darnassus to give in some quests and then went to sleep!

Day 48: 09_04_07

I was walking around the Trade District minding my own business and poof I was summoned to Scarlet Monastry. I was a bit surprised. I was in a group with Sweed, Evanessence, TheoGoth and Nismomuse. We were in SM for quite a long time, we completed the armoury, the graveyard and the cathedral! It's offical that I have seen and done all of SM now. I doubt I will be going back in again as I only got a handful of XP points from the main boss right at the end of the monastry - but it interesting to see SM one last time ;)

After we finished Sweed and I HS to SW. Sweed went to eat but I travelled to Kalimdor and onto Marshall's Refuge in Un'Goro Crater. I went to collect the sprouts for the Kodo quest. I gathered 15 sprouts and gave the to the Kodo for a meal - Booooo No XP! I got a piece of cheese and a bottle of mana as a reward!

All that acid rain, it's certainly caused a problem in Un'Goro Crater ;)

I flew to Gadgetzan and met Sweed and we rode to DuneMaul Compound to look for a wandering ogre. We found him and killed him but he did not have the item that Sweed heard rumoured that he carried! We flew to Ratchet and took a boat to Booty Bay in STV.

Sweed and I went over to the beach to the south to try to storm Captain Still Water's ship again! When we got there we helped out a hapless mage who was being chased by a load of pirates. We joined with him and started to battle through the ship to get to Captain StillWater. It was easier than last time and we managed to kill the Captain with little difficulties and to secure the whole ship. Sweed and I picked up important scrolls that have a riddle on them to solve that will lead to a useful quest later :) We still had to clear the other two ships and kill the captains, we bumped into two mages on the deck of the boat when we came out. We helped them to get the scrolls for themselves and then all five of us worked to clear the remaining two pirate ships and succeeded easily!

After we had finished Sweed and I managed to persuade them to accompany us to kill the huge gorilla King Mukla. We had to fight past a few panthers to get there but we did. I asked the priset 'TheLight' to focus healing on me and then we charged at the gorilla. It was extremely tough going but we managed to finally kill the massive beast - what a challenge!

That's one big ape ;)

After we finished Mukla we all rode around the coast and attacked the monster Gorlash to recover Captain Smotts chest that he had stolen! After we got the chest the group disbanded and Sweed and I went to release Princess Poobah using the key that we captured from the falled Mukla ;)

After we returned to Booty Bay we met up with a warlock called Nakrah and we went to kill ogres in the North East of STV. We were looking for a key that had been stolen by the ogres, but with several hundred ogres in the area and not knowing which one had the key we knew it might take awhile. It was lucky that we stumbled upon the key quite early.

We decided to fly to Darnassus to give in some quests. Sweed gave in a quest then went to sleep. I HS to SW and went to sleep very soon after I gave in my seed cultivation quest :)

Day 47: 08_04_07

I flew to the Hinterlands. I wanted to kill some Owl Beasts! Not because it is fun to kill them and that they should be killed cos they walk funny but because I wanted to complete a geniune quest ;) I probably could have done it with minimum owl casualities but I managed to end up killing most of them! I was looking for 'wildkin' feathers that were dropped around the area - I got the 15 that I needed :)

I tried to find a temple to recover 5 stolen gryphon eggs that the witherbarks had taken! I fought a few trolls on the altars there, recovered the eggs and also found the body of the dwarf Featherbeard :) Things had gone well so far. I flew to Menethil Harbor and took the boat to Theramore and flew to Gadgetzan in Tanaris :)

I met up with Lady Proudmoore in Theramore for some freshly brewed tea and scones ;)

I had got a quest the other day to look for Gahz'ridian ornaments that were buried in the sand of Tanaris. I had to wear a very strange looking radar hat in order that I could find the ornaments! It was such a strange hat and I was glad to chuck it away as soon as possible after the quest was finished :) I had to get 30 of the ornaments so it took a while, most of them where buried in and around ruins in the south of Tanaris which was populated by some Ogres. I wasn't going to let a few ogres get in the way of my collection of the ornaments so they were swiftly dispatched ;)

Ding Ding Ding Lvl 50 - I levelled up when I handed in the ornaments quest! It is a bit of a milestone Level 50 in some way LOL Well not really! It sounds better than 49! I am looking forward to Level 58 and Outlands :) The powers that be won't let anyone through the DarkPortal into Outlands until they have enough experience! I guess that is wise! They don't want a lot of dead! Still I would like to take a peep into the portal - just for a few seconds ;)

I rode into Un'Goro Crater. I was a bit frightened at first but then I worked out that there wasn't anything dangerous in the muddy looking water of the rivers so I used them as roads to stay away from the raptors and scary freaky flower monsters ;) I saw the volcano in the middle of the crater. I was looking for soil samples from the crater and they were hard to come by. In the north of Un'Goro I fought a few tar creepers to get some tar for a quest and found a dwarf woman that was sad because she had lost her mechanical gorilla - I said that I would keep an eye out for it! I found my way to Marshall's refuge in the mountains to the north of Un'Goro! The flight path will be useful for later as I can get to Un'Goro fast now :) There was a cave full of bright shining jewels at the refuge. I searched for sprouts and power crystals too.

I met Sweed at Marshalls refuge and we flew to Gadgetzan. We rode south to look for Cuergo's Gold and we managed to find and collect the treasure - but not without some fighting ;) We HS to SW and then flew to Booty Bay in STV.

We went to try to find the tauren princess 'Poobah'. We found her but we couldn't release her until the huge gorilla 'King Mukla' had been defeated. We tried to beat the King twice (Lvl 51 Elite) but we couldn't manage it - he seemed to somehow last longer than expected!

We gave up and managed to complete the quests, Strangethorn Fever, Zombie Dues and Zanzil Mixture that Sweed hadn't already completed.

We handed in the quests for Sweed in Booty Bay. Sweed went to sleep and I flew to Darnassus to hand in the WildKin Feather quest and the Un'Goro Soil quest! I HS to SW and went to sleep - it had been a busy but fun day!!!

Don't let anyone tell you that Night Elves don't have a sense of humour ;) Thats got to give that gryphon a headache!

Day 46: 07_04_07

Sweed and I went into the BattleGround WarSong Glutch. It was only the second battleground I had been in. It is a good idea to go to battlegrounds when your level is a 8 or 9 like 39 or 49 and the opposition ranges in blocks of ten like lvl 40 to lvl 49 so at the higher levels you stand more chance of making more kills and getting more honour ;)

I went into the battleground about 3 times and made about 65 honour points - not bad! You can see the points for prizes and I hope that I can make enough points to get something quite good :)

Sweed captured one of the horde flags and I had to protect him with some others until the flag was declared ours. We lost two of the battles and won one! I wasnt too worried about the flags, just wanted to kill the enemy horde!

When I came out of the battleground Areldrich asked me if I wanted to go to Mauradon. It can be a spooky and difficult place to go to but I agreed to go. I was summoned to Mauradon. In the group we had, Areldrich, Cristyl, Blue Angel and SilverDeath. Silver was a level 60 with a level 60 pet. Silver rushed around killing everything and we assisted. It wasn't much of a challenge but it was nice to enjoy it more than last time :) We killed worms and elementals and got into the instance. It is a big place and we got lost quite a few times!

We easily killed Lord Vyletongue this time - it seemed that he had been brought back to life! We got a long way through Mauradon. Silver had to leave and we came out of the instance. BlueAngel summoned Sparticuss (level 66 mage) and we continued on back into the instance. We were trying to fine the second part of a quest to get a rod to attach it to a diamond but we never found it. The hours were ticking by and Mauradon didnt appear to be getting any smaller! BlueAngel died and left to sleep!

We continued on and killed a rock type boss 'Landslide' level 50 elite and then at Zaetar's grave we killed princess Theradras (level 51 elite) who was very very ugly indeed! We saw the spirit of Zaetar at the grave which was in a lush garden with beautiful flowers - a stark contrast to most of the rest of Mauradon.

We fought through a load of rock elemental patrols, primordial behemoths and lizards. We were all eventually killed by a huge giant crocodile and hydra and we all ressed at the spirit healer at the graveyard outside of Mauradon.

We HS to SW - it was time to sleep! What a productive day 70,000 XP from Mauradon!
