Day 26: 18_03_07

I took the tram from IronForge to SW and then I rode into GoldShire. I went to see my skinning trainer as I had already got as far as I could with initial skill - I learnt Artisan Skinning!

I flew to Thelsamar in Loch Modan and rode to the Badlands. I wanted to finish a quest killing elementals that I was forced to quite the other day because of that horde guy Sagero :( I worked on the quest - Study of the Elements: Rock. I worked on a string of quests and finally ended up killing 42+ Greater Rock Elementals in the South of Badlands (3/82).
Ding Ding Ding Level 42 - Hooray!

I hearthed to SW and went into The Stockades briefly to farm some cash. I spent quite a bit in the Auction House today upgrading my armor :) I like my new armour very much!

I met Sooper and we took the Tram to Ironforge. We ran to Gnomeragan and summoned Sweed. Sooper wanted the armoured trousers that the Gnomeragan boss reputedly dropped!
He needs new pants as his current ones have many holes which his coins fall out of!

We used the back door of Gnomeragan and it didn't take too long - only about 15/20 mins. It turned out quite easy to kill the boss after all :) It was pretty intense at some points though with loads of mobs on us! Shows how far we have come and we work well as a team!

We hearthed back to SW and Sweed gave us some magic food to eat that he had found. The food turned us into Pirates! Yaaaarrr! Shiver my Timbers! Hide the Rum Sooper is about ;)

We all flew to Arathi and ran to Faldir's cove. There were a lot of quests there by the beach! Sweed, Sooper and myself tried to do the gem collection quest. I wasn't getting many. Sweed and Sooper decided to call it a night. I realised that I hadn't been wearing my special 'gem detecting glasses' - aren't they cool! Once I had them on I completed the quest with only a little difficulty :) I am glad that one is finished!

I flew to Booty Bay to give in a quest and search for another quest - one that has a 14 slot bag as a prize at the end - a big bag like that would be very useful indeed :) The quest was on a boat at 32/88 in Stranglethorn Vale on the beach near Booty Bay. I tried to get onto the ship but was beaten back by sailors and mages. I managed to clear the top deck but it was hard going - fun though!

I hearthed to SW and went to the Dwarven District and decided to replace my LeatherWorking skill with Mining :) I got the skill and bought a PickAxe and a mineral deposits detector and I was ready to mine. I was going to go to see my Warrior Trainer in GoldShire anyway and so I have a look around the forest in Elwyn and found some copper seams to mine - it was fun!

Time Finished: 3:30pm
Time Questing: 7 hours 30 mins

Day 25: 17_03_07

I woke up in DarkShire - way wierd! I am used to waking up in the Guilded Rose so it took a moment to adjust. I was too tired to get back to SW last night so I decided to spend the night at the inn here in DarkShire - it is not as comfortable sleep because you are always wondering whether something nasty is going to come out of the woods!

I flew to SouthShore and joined my Guild, "The Fellowship of the Dragon". There was a raid on a horde village. I helped for about 45 minutes and got 18 kills. It was pretty intense at some points. Dragon told me afterwards that he thought that we had won! Hooray!

I flew from SouthShore to Thelsamar in Loch Modan and then rode into the Badlands to meet Sooper. I started to work on collecting for a quest 'Reagents for Reclaimers Inc' and managed to get most buzzard gizzards and coyote fangs that I needed.

I joined Sooper and killed Rock Elementals for stone shards. Sooper unfortunately accidently shot a Horde player which upset him and he turned on us. He repeatedly killed us. He was an unfair fighter always either running back to the safety of his village or attacking us when our health was low after fighting an elemental and using invisibility and stun . I did manage to kill him once. So if you see a horde player called 'Sagero' out there give him a hard time ;) I am officially putting out a 'hit' on him ;)

We hearthed to SW and took the tram to IronForge, flew to Menethil Harbor and took the boat to Theramore. From Theramore we flew by gryphon to Nijel's Point in the desolace. We had another Reagents quest in the south of the Barrens at Mannoroc Coven where I have been a few times already, we needed Brains, Wings and Blood (not a nice sounding mix). We had to kill Hounds, NetherSisters and Doom Warders.

As we were fighting we were attacked by this huge beast - but managed to beat him ;) (see top of my diary page!)

After awhile Sooper leveled up to 40 - hooray well done Sooper - now only 80 gold before you get your mount - good luck ;)

We met Sweed in the Desolace. He had been drinking beer and was finding it hard to walk in a straight line, he was slurring his words and appeared sleepy. His drunken horse antics on the SW fountain would have only damaged his reputation in SW.
We hearthed to SW and flew to SouthShore and then started the run to Scarlet Monastry. Sooper had learnt a new spell called 'Aspect of the Pack' which made us all run faster and with Soopers new route to SM we were there very fast and so that was great. We summoned mageDraenei and Lennard through the summoning stone and tried to tackle SM. We were all tired and didn't get very far. Sweed fell asleep and we had to drag him outside the monastry so he could sleep hidden in the bushes.

We all hearthed to SW and all the others went to sleep. I flew to Thelsamar in Loch Modan and rode into the Badlands. I killed the remaining buzzards for my quest and then I rode back to Thelsamar and flew to IronForge. I was so tired when I had handed in the quest in the Hall of Explorers that I fell asleep in the corner of the great hall ;)

Time Finished: 3:30am
Time Questing: 7 1/2 hours

Day 24: 16_03_07

I took the tram to IronForge and met Gopo outside the bank. Gopo called for his brother Gogu and Gogu enchanted my sword for an extra 7 weapon damage and the cool thing is the sword now glows with an eerie blue light :) Hooray - my sword is possessed!

Gopo wanted help with killing Roogug in Razorfen Kraul and so we flew to MH and took the boat to Theramore. We flew to Ratchet and then ran south all the way through the Barrens towards a Thousand Needles - its a long way phew! We summoned Sweed through the summoning stone outside of Kraul. We all went in and managed to find a short cut to Roogug. It was tough but we managed to kill Roogug and get the Phial of Phistogen for Gopo- we got mobbed many times by the pig warriors and shamans :(

We hearthed to SW. Gopo left and Gogu joined us and we all flew to Arathi Refugee Point to meet Sooper. We split up and rushed around looking for Fozruk - so we could kill him and his Kobold Guards - I was the first to find him and when we call got back together Fozruk was easily killed.

We ran to Stromgarde to do the questing - Threlane's Defenses and went into a tower inside. As we activated defenses loads of ogres jumped out to mob us. It was pretty intense but we managed to kill them all. We got the Azure Agate we needed that was dropped by an Ogre Shaman and after we returned that we came back to the tower to collect further quest items - gems that could be found in boxes in and around the tower.

Sweed and Sooper went to sleep and I continued with Gogu to Desolace and then onto Thelsamar in LochModan and then a ride to the South into Badlands to find the quests that would lead to the Trinket 'Nifty Stop Watch' which would let me run 40% faster to get away from fights - sounds useful. Gogu also took me to Strangethorne Vale to show me how to complete the GreenHills of StrangleThorn book pages quest :) Hooray :)

Time to sleep -_- ZZZZZzzzzz

Time Finished: 2am
Time Questing: 6 hours

Day 23: 15_03_7

Starting in SW I flew to Menethil Harbor. I had to search for some Searing Coral. The coral was to be found near a murloc's village near the wreck of the Flying Osprey (8/70). I had to dive down and retrieve the coral. I managed to get the coral with only the fewest encounters with Murlocs so that was good, I didn't want to waste any time on them. Once I had the 20 pieces that I needed I took a boat to Theramore and then flew by Gryphon to Nijel's Point in the Desolace.

I completed the hunting the scorpions quest and then I hearthed to SW to join Sweed. We travelled to IronForge by tram and I gave in my quest and also trained to wear Plate Armour with my Warrior Trainer :) Hooray I can get stronger armour now - I need it as most of my armour is level 30 and I am level 40 so I need to improve that.

Sweed drank a strange potion and it turned him into a pirate! Aaarrgh Mates!

We flew to BootyBay in StrangleThorn Vale. The Vale is still one of the scariest areas as the monsters are very tough but fantastic XP. Sweed told me about 3 quests and we worked on them but I didn't manage to complete any of them. I was just helping Sweed and get some more XP from the kills. Sooper Leveled up to 39 and Sweed was close to getting to 40 and I was close to getting to Level 41.

Ding Ding Ding Level 41 - Hooray! It is hardly a mile-stone after lvl 40 but it was hard work!

Ding Ding Ding Sweed Levelled up to 40 - Hooray that is good news.

We quickly hearthed to SW leaving Sooper behind - poor Little Fella. Sweed rushed towards the Cathedral of Light - it was hard to keep up with him. He kept hollering at the top of his voice that he was going to get his horse - he sure was excited :) Sweed talked to his Paladin Trainer and he got his amoured horse. We rode around for awhile and rode to the East Vale Logging Camp. We had a race back and it was close but Sweed won! It was time to sleep -_-

Time Finished: 1:30pm
Time Questing: 5 hours

Day 22: 14_03_07

As soon as I woke up I heard knocking on my door it was MageDraenei. She was in a rush and wanted me quickly to come to Gnomergan to help her and her group there. We travelled to Gnomeragan. I jumped straight into the fighting and slaughtered a path right through the centre of Gnomeragan with some healing from Maera. I ignored that there was multiple mobs and attacked hard. There was no XP and I got neither of my two remaining tasks there done. It was getting a bit boring and the Trogg population was severely diminished I thought that they would have to be listed as an endangered species at the IronForge library. Towards the end of Gnomeragan I started to pick up XP but the mobs got too big but it was doable. We failed the final boss twice which was a shame as there are good rewards for finishing him off. We nearly did it the second time but were rushed by a load of extra fighters from behind.

We ressed at the spirit healer and Mage leave to sleep and the party broke up. I joined Sweed and Sooper at the Arathi Refugee Pointe. We helped Sooper to do the quest 'Wand over Fist' - it was fast and easy :) I managed to tag the boss before another fighter that we didn't know and we got the wand within minutes. Sooper was feeling a little dizzy and his tummy was hurting so we carried him to the Refugee Pointe so he could rest and sleep alot. Both Sweed and I were going to go into the Arathi Basin but only Sweed was granted entry - apparently I was too high a level and it was felt that I would have an unfair advantage :( I need an advantage in there - it is very tough in combat arena! I helped Sweed get to Dalaran to hand in a quest and then Sweed went to sleep.

I flew to Menethil Harbor and took a boat to Theramore and flew to Nijel's point in the Desolace :) I rushed to the North West to kill Hate Fury's to get their horns and claws for a quest. I then tried to find 3 aged kodos to kill as the skin was required by a dodgy looking dwarf at Nijel's Point - he was wearing an big hat and was all in black - creepy :(

I rode off to Mannoroc Coven and continued to killed the strong monsters there and looked for Scorpions to kill for another quest. I returned to Nijel's Point and then hearthed to SW. I was tired. It hadn't been a very successful day there was very little XP to show for my work!

Time Finished: 2:30pm
Time Questing: 5 hours

Day 21: 13_03_07

It was wierd waking up in the bedroom of the inn at Nijel's point. I wasn't sure where I was for a second and then I remembered. Sweed and Sooper weren't there so I assumed they had gone on some more adventures.

I gathered my horse from the stables and jumped on. I rode to The Charred Vale in StoneTalon fast and sent about killing the rest of the Harpies to complete the quest from last night. It was very easy and I rode to StoneTalon Peak to give in the quest and met those funny leaf people again (cross between a horse and an elf with glowing green eyes! Freaky!)

I fly to Nijel's point and started to ride to The Thousand Needles but I never got there. I got distracted in South Desolace when I came upon a temple of scary looking big monsters (lesser infernals, burning blade summoners, doom warder and mage hunters). I spent along time farming those and they were pretty tough! I tried to get into a tower that was near the temple but there didn't seem to be an entrance so I figured it might be a magical transporter entrance that I would understand at a later date!

I got a pidgeon message saying the Sweed and Sooper had arrived to Nijels' point so I rode to meet them on the way I got distracted by a goblin trader, he asked for my protection to escort him and his friend and their two kodos (laden with goods) along the road. I accepted and helped it was quite tough and sometimes we were waylaid by four enemies at once. I successfully escorted the caravan to safety further up the road and completed the quest at the kodo trader I did the taming kodo's quest for and I got some nice strong shoulder pads as a reward.

After meeting Sooper and Sweed we did the first part of the Karnitol shipwreck quest and then Sweed went to sleep back at Nijel Point's inn. I stayed with Sooper to complete the second part of the quest - it was easy but Sooper only found the second part by accident - well done! The first part was finding a chest and the second a satchel. It was carried by a slitherblade on an island in the middle of a lovely looking coral reef of the coast of Desolace (30/6).

I hearthed to SW and to the tram to IronForge. I handed in the quest with Sooper and then he went to sleep where we handed in the quest. He flopped onto the floor of the Hall of Explorers and fall asleep as soon as his head hit the concrete!

I saw my warrior trainer in IronForge - a gruff looking dwarf who never smiles! I learnt several new skills for my Beserker Stance including, intercept, pummel, cleave, whirlwind and execute ;) I used the tram to go back to SW and then I went into the Stockades to practice my new fighting abilities - it will be hard to get used too but I like the new moves, especially whirlwind. I got a high critical hit on execute of over 300 :)

It was time to sleep ;)

Day 20: 12_03_07

I flew to Menethil Harbor and took the boat to Theramore. I only had four silver pieces left and I knew I had to grind out some money and drops so I could get afloat again. I spent a few hours in DustWallow Marsh killing a plethora of creatures as fast as I could and managed to fill my bags full of goodies and skins too :) I managed to make 4 gold from the drops from the whole day! So I hope to be solvent again soon and able to start to improve my skills ;) I need to!

I wanted to complete an old quest hanging around in my quest log and it was a good opportunity to exercise and use my new horse. The quest was High Perch Venom (12/36) in Thousand Needles south of The Barrens. I rode my horse into the Barrens and then into Thousand Needles and found the home of the High Perches (Lion Eagles! Freaky Things).
They were very easy to kill though and I soon got the 10 Venom Sacs I needed for the quest. I tried to get to Feralas but I died :( I rode back into DustWallow Marsh and to the Ogre village of BrackenWall. I saw an Ogre who gave me a quest to kill murlocs at the coast.
Hey stop killing my Murlocs Beyotch ;) This guy should be arrested for mass genocide :(
I went to do it but the drop rate was low and so I didn't manage to complete it. I decided to go to Loch Modan to give in a very easy quest indeed.

I travelled back to Menethil Harbor and flew to Loch Modan. I went to the excavation site and ended up helping to rid the site of Troggs and gathering up the religious idols they dropped. I met Sweed when he flew into Thelsammar. He was surprised I had my horse but liked it :) We met Sooper in Menethil and decided to go to Nijel's Point in Desolace so Sweed could get the flight path. We took a shortcut into The Barrens which involved fighting alot of creatures and then up to the North to StoneTalon Mountains. We were going to run through the Charred Vale but took a detour to StoneTalon Peak and got another flight path there so that was very good.

In the Charred Vale we killed alot of harpies but didn't quite finish the quest. We ran to Nijel's point and then all decided to sleep. Luckily there were three beds in the inn. It feels strange not to return to The Guilded Rose in StormWind but it is like a little holiday to the Desolace!!! We were all tired it had taken well over an hour to run to Nijel's point from Menethil Harbor ;)
Lighting never strikes the same place twice! Watch out guys!

Leonalia and the Two Bears ;)
