Day 82: 12_05_07

I woke up in Shattrath City in the new inn - its like a 5 Star Inn - Only the best treatment for the warriors allowed to venture through the Dark Portal ;) I rode over to the centre of the city and went through the portal to Darnassus. I flew to Silithus and decided to try to complete a quest I had there to collect scorpion pinchers and spiders legs. It took ages but I was glad that I had got it done and out of the way :)

I flew to Un'Goro to help Sooper with some of his quests there. He is still a little dazed and confused after his absence and so he needs some help! I helped Sooper with 'Alien Ecology' to collect the hive sample from the alien insect nest, Power Crystals quest as well, Food Crate and Research Equipment and finding the North, West and East Pylons. We were questing with a friend of Sooper called Allenor (an elf). Sweed joined us towards the end of the Un'Goro quests.

We HSed, Sooper and Sweed to SW and myself to Shattrath. They took the tram to Iron Forge while I used the portal :) We flew to the Hinterlands and did an old quest to collect gryphon eggs for Sooper and then we all went to the Troll City to try to release poor Sharp Beak who had got himself caught by the trolls again. We managed to set him free again when we had got the Hexx Key. It wasn't too challenging after all but did take a little while.

We then rode to the flight path on Aeerie Peak and I flew to Netherguarde Keep. We all met in Nethergarde and joined up with IrishFin (from the Exiles) and rode to Sunken Temple in the Swamp of Sorrows. We summoned Konaur through the summoning stone and entered the temple. We worked hard and it was tough but we completed many things in the temple. We killed the Prophet Jammal and the boss Atal'alarion, we killed a huge dragon and tried to release the God Hakkar.

We HSed and I slept in Shattrath.

Day 81: 11_05_07

From StormWind I flew to Morgan's Vigil in the Burning Steepes and met up with Sweed. We rode to Black Rock Depths through the Burning Steppes. When we got to BRD we summoned Mosseman and Dendron (who has now joined the guild - hooray!) PaulDavid joined us in BRD.

We spent about 3 to 4 hours in BRD and did pretty well. Having Paul along is a big boost and also Dendron is a Paladin with Holy Spec and he managed to keep the group consently healed - very impressive and his mana rarely seemed to go down! We got a long way and then Sweed and I said that we would like to go to help Sooper in Un'Goro.

PaulD and I HS to ST.City and went through the Portal to StormWind. We repaired and then took the tram to IronForge to meet Sweed and Sooper. PaulD went off to quest in Outlands again and Sweed, Sooper and I flew to the Blasted Lands. We showed Sooper the Dark Portal and then ground out some enemies in the area for XP especially at Serpent's Coil (adepts, cultists and thugs) There are still some very strong baddies there with a spell they cast that makes them invunerable for along time - so that can be challenging.

Sweed and Sooper HS to SW to sleep and I rode back to Nethergarde Keep and flew to Morgan's Vigil in the Burning Steppes to give in a quest that I completed in BRD. I HS to ST.City to sleep!

An over-ambitious horde thought they could beat Sweed in a duel and me too - they lost!

Outlands : Special

Day 80: 10_05_07

Sweed was busy in Mauradon so I went through the Dark Portal into Outlands and joined PaulD. PaulD was going to give me a tour of Outlands. It was great to see Paul's new flying Gryphon mount. It was very cool and can hover and fly and run along the ground too, it looks very good - I want one too! :(

Paul helped me to complete two quests, one to kill Orcs just outside Honor Hold and the other to kill other scary monsters in the immediate area too. I got a nice crossbow for completing one of the quests to that is very good :)

After the quests Paul rode off on his horse and I followed him. He was going to take me to see some of the sites of Outland. Trekkor Forest was very nice and atmospheric with it's elven lights hanging from the trees. Shattrah City was only very cool and I chose to make the Aldor's Inn there my permanent home, what a wonderful Inn :) The best news is there there are portals to SW, Darnassus and IronForge very close by so if I ever use my stone to transport back to Shattrah then I can use the portals quickly to get to some of my favourite major cities!

PaulD showed me lots of Flight Paths which will be extremely useful laterand also took me to the Temple of Telhamat so that I could learn the most advanced first aid skill - soon I will be able to use Netherweave Bandages :) Hooray! PaulD also took me through the wierd huge Mushroom fields of ZangarMarsh.

PaulD went off to kill some baddies who had troubled us earlier and I used the Portal to get to Darnassus. I flew to Un'Goro as there had been a rumour that my old friend, 'Little Fella' Sooper had been spotted there! I was hoping Sooper was back, he had been missing for around a month, missing presumed dead! Hooray he was there! He explained that he had fallen down a well and that he hadn't been able to get out. He had had to survive on bugs and his own clothes as food until luckily someone had passed by. They had expected to pull up water with the bucket but what they saw certainly shocked them! Perhaps they will never be the same again!

Sweed joined us and we helped Sooper to search for some soil he was looking for, that Un'Goro soil is very precious and fertile and good for growing Elven MorrowGrain :)

We were attacked by the Devilsaur. We all started to run but then I remembered how the Devilsaur had upset Kaye earlier so I turned around and started to attack it. Sooper and Sweed joined in and we slaughtered the pesky DevilSaur. Hooray! Finally our turn to pester him!

I HS to Shattrath and took the Portal to StormWind and slept in the Guilded Rose - it seems that I would like to continue to sleep there after all - Old habits die hard!

Day 79: 09_05_07

I resumed today in Silithus with Sweed and we continued with the Deadly Venom quest for Stonelash Scorpions and Skitter Spiders, but we didnt manage to fully complete the quest. We instead worked on killing the large worms that inhabit the desolate wasteland, the Dredge Crushers for the quest, 'Stepping up Security' - the elves dont like having these dangerous worms roaming around the area so it was our job to clear them out! Extermination Time!!!

I helped Sweed to fight his way into a camp to get a recipe and then Sweed helped me to kill a small number of ghostly Elven Druids and Sentinels. Sweed was tired after all the fighting and a little freaked out that when the ghostly elves were killed alien insects emerged from them to continue the fight! Sweed HS to SW to sleep. I carried on and went to complete the quest in Valor's Rest, the graveyard near Un'Goro. I spent sometime killing some more monsters and then...

Ding Ding Ding Level 58 ;) Whoooo Hoooo! Outlands here I come! I had reached the required level that I would be allowed to travel through the Dark Portal.

I HS to SW immediately and jumped onto the gryphon for a flight to the Blasted Lands. I rode over to the portal and it was a special moment to step through the huge portal. Everything went dark and I felt a tingling and spinning sensation and forcefully ejected out into Outlands.

Commander Duron's job is to greet new arrivals and do some killing too of course!

Outlands looked amazing and scary too. I could see a huge monster directing a battle between its troops and the alliance troops! They seemed to be in a stalemate. I kept away from the fighting and took a gryphon near the portal to a place called Honor Hold. It was great to see the sights of Outland from the air. I had fun exploring Honor Hold and starting some basic quests. I also looked around outside the safety of Honor Hold's walls. I was exploring the entrance to a mine and I saw NecroSlayer (from the guild) and we worked together to complete a quest for him. Necro was kind enough to let me have a very good sword drop that I could use with my new shield that I had bought in preparation for Outland :) We finished killing Gan'arg Sappers in the mine in the hill under Honor Hold and I HS to SW and went to sleep!

It's been a tiring day but also a fantastic one too! Getting to Outland has been a goal that I have had for a long time now and so all the hard work has paid off in the end!

Day 78: 08_05_07

I joined a group for Black Rock Depths, Sweed, Treowe, Inos and Ostatnidon. We tried hard in BRD but it was immensely tough. We got quite along way through, almost to Ambassador FlameLash but then we had to turn back because it became much too difficult! We HS to SW.

I flew to Silithus with Sweed (stopping at gadgetzan along the way!) We worked on some quests in Silithus. Securing the supply lines and deadly desert venom but we didn't complete them.

We were tired after BRD so we didnt quest for long, we HS to SW and went to sleep -_-

Day 77: 07_05_07

I travelled to FeatherMoon Stronghold, always quite a trip from StormWind. I met Sweed and Mwihaki there as we were going to go into 'Dire Maul' in Feralas. We picked up a few quests in the elven island village and then took the boat to the mainland and rode to 'Dire Maul'. It was going to be my first time into Dire Maul, I had riding past the entrance before but never been in. You tend to keep away from a place when you here the screams and howling emanating from within it's walls :( I was expecting that we would get a dire mauling from the creatures inside.

First we entered Dire Maul with Mwihaki and her BlackBerry. We crept in avoiding the ogres and the packs of hunting dogs. Dire Maul was like a huge ruin of a once grand civilisation, what a massive place! We entered the eastern part of Dire Maul and began to fight towards Lethtendris (a blood elf we needed to find for a quest). We fought huge tree monsters (warwood crushers) and smaller tree and flower monsters. We also began to hunt down an imp after he started to taunt us but he was very fast and difficult to keep up with. We got a pidgeon message from Areldritch and Desuetado saying that they would like to join us in Dire Maul. Mwihaki generated a portal through with they could be summoned and they joined us.

Arel and Des were both wearing hats. Arel had a fancy riding outfit which he quickly changed!

We all fought our way through Dire Maul which got harder and harder. The ogres got bigger and bigger and we started to encounter DoomGuard Minions. We found Lethendris and beat her to get the web elements she held, we needed them for a quest. We also managed to catch up with the pesky Imp, we taunted him and made him cry and then he attacked us with his friends, the imp grew to a large size but we managed to defeat him. We found that the Imp was holding a 'crystal key' that would give us access to another part of Dire Maul and so we took it and made our way there. Mwihaki was looking for a place to buy a pattern from that she needed and we helped here to look. We thought that we had got the seller who was chained up and surrounded by DoomGuard Minions with an evil eye floating around the area, but it wasn't him. Mwuhaki did find the pattern seller later in the Dire Maul library.

Sweed was hungry so he HS to SW. Des HS and Arel made a portal and I went through it with him to SW. I am not sure what Mwi did after we left! After spending sometime in StormWind at the AH, repairer, the bank and the shops I travelled back to Kalimdor and to Azshara and then rode to Forest Song in the North East of AshenVale to give in a quest. I rode into Felwood and completed some quests for the bears there, giving feathers and delivering messages. Then I flew to FeatherMoon Stronghold to give in the Blood Elf quest.

I then flew North again and over to Eversong in WinterSpring. I set about finding some bears that needed to be exterminated for a quest. I had killed all that I needed and as I was riding out I met Eva. I helped her to get the rest of the bears that she needed too. We rode to Saifa to give in the quest near the entrance to the bear tunnel. I think that all of Saifa's enemies must have mostly been killed by now! Well I hope so! Upon completing this quest I found that I had gained enough reputation with Saifa that his bear troops didn't try to attack me in the tunnel to Felwood and Moonglade!

I said Goodnight to Eva and HS to SW. I flew to Ironforge and rode out into Dun Morogh. I was looking for Sweed's friend Sweedle! I met Sweedle in the snow just off the road. He asked me for some help to kill some baddies. It was fun to help as it was so easy to kill the baddies. I could kill them with a single stroke of my sword. After a while it was time to sleep and I went to sleep in a little inn in Kharanos just outside IronForge.
