Day 12: 04_03_07

The King and I ;) He's a bit young for me :(

I bumped into Sweed outside the StormWind bank - I had been counting all my money ;) We flew to the Arathi Refugee Point and ran towards where Sooper was reported to be - He had left a message detailing his location for us with Commander Nials. Luckily I had been there and completed the quest the other day called, 'Worth it's Weight in Gold". I helped Sooper and Sweed to complete the quest but Sooper had almost finished it when we arrived. While we were in the cave to collect the final piece of the quest I got enough XP to level up...

Ding Ding Ding Level 37 - Hooray! I bet you are proud of me :)

After the quest a tussle broke out between Sweed and Sooper - a duel! Sooper won! He used Wolfy to occupy Sweed's attention while he attacked from a distance - very clever :)

After this quest we started off to do the BoulderFist Ogre quest for the wand (53/76) - Sooper said that he was tired and went to SouthShore to sleep -_- Sweed and I continued on into the Ogre's cave and easily beat them all and the boss for the wand. We returned to Arathi Refugee Point.

We ran to Stormgarde and tried to do the Badges quest. We almost died and did die numerous times and decided that with two it was too hard - we would need a larger group for this one and especially the Otto and Falconcrest quest into the castles keep! We gave up!

We ran into the Alterac Mountains to a place called Strahnbard. We wanted to do the Noble Deaths quest for syndicate members rings which we had to pry off their lifeless pinkies! We got 7 rings and also 4 mages from another quest.

Sweed got turned into a sheep while fighting Baaaaaaahh hehe and then me too :( Buuuuaaaah!
I still think that I look cute as a sheep :) We met a bossy warrior lady who told me that I was behind with my warrior quest - LOL - yes I am a bit behind :( hehe and she said that a horse wasn't a number one priority - she kidding me ;)



We went to do the second part of the other quest to kill an Ogre called Nagaz and his syndicate troops in and around a farm house by Lordamere Lake (39/14). After killing him and his minions then we submitted the quests in SouthShore and then came back to Nagaz's house as Sweed had to kill his identical twin brother Magaz ;)


On the way to the farm house we were attacked by a woman called Nancy Vishas and her Grandpa who was a 34 Elite (33/31) We managed to beat them! We also saw a big dragon chasing a Night Elf along with some warriors in pursuit of them both - scary and comical at the same time!

After Magaz ;) then we went back to Strahnbrad to finish off 4 mages and then back to SouthShore to hand in the quest :) Sweed was hungry so he tucked into some chicken wings in the Inn. I tried to fish and found I couldn't :( I was annoyed so I went to kill some Murlocs and found that there was a quest to kill them. Sweed joined and me and killed all we needed.

Back in the town Sweed hearthed back to SW and I continued on killing Murlocs on the Western Strand for a second quest to get 10 of their heads. I then got a quest to kill Daggerspines on the Eastern Strand (54/67) and that proved very fun and worthwhile :)

Back to SW before I had to get up in the morning for my plate washing duties at the Inn - the job is boring and I don't know how long I can stick at it! I might ask for some different tasks like making the beds or cleaning up Dwarf vomit to get a bit of variety!!!

Day 11: 03_03_07

From SW I flew to Menethil Habor and ran down the road to Loch Modan. I was looking for Leech Stalker Spiders for my Warrior Quest, "Fire Hardened Mail". I needed 50 spider fangs. The spiders we not high level and I could kill three at once, so I attracted three at a time. It took less than 10 minutes to get all the fangs I needed.

I joined with Daevid who wanted me to help him kill Nek'Rosh the ogre in the AngerFang Encampment. I thought it would be tough with a 32 Warrior and 36 Warrior but I obliterated Nek'Rosh and his chums - surprisingly easy! Daevid got Nek'Rosh's sword that I used along time ago but my new sword is way better ;)

I flew to SouthShore and bought three packs of Soothing Spices for a quest in DustWallow Marsh. I decided to try to complete a quest, "Worth it's Weight in Gold" so I flew to the Arathi Refugee point and then ran East towards the mountains. It was an area called Go' Shek farm and I had to kill Witherbark Creatures to collect tusks, pouches and a knife.

I grouped with Almard a level 30 Mage. We killed many creatures and I finished collecting my items quite a while before Almard. We came to a house higher up on the mountainside. Almard said that the WitherBark Creatures leader was here and it would take 5 people in a group to beat him. I laughed and charged the creature and finished him easily! 5 in 1 ;)

On the way back along the road to the Refugee Point Almard was attacked by a blood elf and her pet. He died pretty fast. I killed the pet and then lashed out at the Blood Elf. I got her health down to almost zero while taking quite a beating myself but unfortunately she had a potion or something that took her health back to 100% and I died :(

Further along the road I saw a Level 42 Elite called Foz'Ruk a huge boulder like creature! He had an entourage of about 4 lvl 39 Kobolds. There were some others who started to attack Foz'Ruk. I attacked a Kobold and almost won but then I was mobbed by the other three and died :(

After handing in the quest at the Refugee point I went south towards Thandol Span. The guild had given me the co-ordinates for 'Boulder Fist Hall' 53/76. I had to go inside the cave and kill the Boss Ogre to get a wand he had. It took a while to get into the cave as I had to kill alot of ogres guarding the entrance and then about 5 inside. At the back of the cave I attacked an ogre who was a level 36 but as soon as I had then the boss rushed over who was a level 39. I thought, "I'm dead' but I kept fighting and managed to kill them both and get the wand. My health was the lowest possible just before death! As I tried to get out of the cave I was killed by two level 36's - strange! I asked the spirit healer to ressurrect me and I flew from the refugee point to Menethil Habor.

A level 70 was around the pier at Menethil going to Theramore - her name was 'Fox'

I sailed by boat to Theramore and handed in the Soothing Spices quest and killed a significant number of raptors. The spices quest yielded another which was to go to Darkmist Cavern and kill green spiders for their eyes and the guy wanted 40 of them! The spiders were in Blue Fen 35/21. I died pretty quickly when I got two spiders attacking me at once but then I was more careful and picked off one at a time from the outside of the area around the cavern. I got to about 35 eyes and then once again I was attacked by two spiders both Level 37. Miraculously I beat them both with only the smallest fraction of health left again ;) Phew!

I got a message from Sooper that was delivered by a carrier pidgeon. The message that was attached the pidgeon's leg said that he would meet me at Loch Modan - Thelsamar at 11pm as we could go to look at the Badlands. I didn't realise Uldaman was in the Badlands but I hadn't been anywhere else in the Badlands so I was interested to go. I hearthed to SW and flew to Thelsamar. I met Sooper and we ran into the Badlands. We killed Buzzards and Coyote and had a run in with a lot of dwarf miners and warriors - we tried to get into Uldaman but got well and truly beaten :(

We met PaulDavid. Wow he had his new horse :) It was a Chestnut Mare. I think that I will get a Chestnut Mare when I get my horse. It seems very fast and looks very nice :) I am looking forward to getting my horse. I don't think it will be a long time before I have one now as I am up to 53 Gold still quite a way to go but it is going well.

Sweed joined us and We followed PaulDavid as he took us on a shortcut swim into the Barrens. We fought alot of Murk Threshers and some sea monsters!

As we were running along I accidently challenged PaulDavid to a duel. I didn't do too badly and managed to take away half his health. Then Sweed duelled me but I did even worse on the second duel. It was fun still though!

We ran into the Tauren area and we fought some horde and also some of the elite Tauren village guards which were so hard and we all died. PaulDavid and Sooper hearthed out to sleep and Sweed and I ran into the Tauren Horde City of ThunderBluff and died instantly as we were hit by the strong entrance guard. It was time to sleep so we used our stones to get back to SW.

Day 10: 02_03_07

The sun was shining in through the window when I woke up. I think that winter is almost over and spring is coming! I was determined today to level up to 36 and so I decided to do my very best :)

I flew to Menethil Harbor and took the boat to Theramore. I handed in the tough crab legs quest from last night and got no XP :( But my reputation did go up - woop di dooooo lol ;) I started to make some kills in Dustwallow Marsh. I took the boat back to Menethil and flew to Southshore to meet Gogu and Sweed. We ran to the Alterac Ruins. Gogu wanted a book and Sweed and I wanted to kill the remaining 5 Warmonger Ogres to complete that quest. The book was in the school house - myself and Sweed already had it. Gogu helped us kill the WarMongers. At one point we had 4 or 5 ogres mobbing us as the ogres were casting spells to make me run away and bump into others. It was tough at points but we managed somehow.

Ding Ding Ding Level 36 - the Warmongers were enough to level me. Taking the quest back in also gave 4700 XP which was a fantastic start on the way to level 37. The best news was that I could use the new sword that I had bought. It really is a nice sword that does 30 DPS so that is good - the monsters will start to die faster now :)

We went to an area near Tarren Mill to kill Syndicate Footpads and Thieves - and got 1750 XP. We said goodnight to Gogu and he left - it was lots of fun to quest with Gogu again :)

We flew to IronForge to take in a quest (1750xp) and meet up with Sooper :) Hooray! The Little Fella was already for questing. Sweed decided to sleep and took off to the Inn. We did a lot of travelling next: Flying to Menethil, Boat to Theramore, Boat to Auberdine, Run to Astranaer (and saw a nice house on the way), flying from Astranaer to Auberdine, boat to Menethil, boat to Theramore and eventually get to Dustwallow Marsh again (where I started!) to kill monsters. We killed alot of crocolisks and also Raptors, Sooper almost levelled up!

Sooper said that his pets would get more friendly as time went on and it looks like he was right!

It was getting late and the sky was getting dim, the light levels were so low I could hardly see Sooper ahead. It was time to sleep and Sooper rushed to an Inn! I hearthed to SW and rushed to the Guilded Rose, exhausted I fell asleep!

Day 9: 01_03_07

Another good day for questing :) I think that it is going to be a good day today!

I flew to Menethil Harbor in Wetlands as I wanted to visit Theramore and DustWallow Marsh again. I was looking for a guy called Private Theramore I think he was involved in something quite serious but I am not sure what he did but I couldn't find him. I ran around for ages through the Marshes and had to kill quite a few raptors, spiders and crocolisks that I ran into. Some guy in SW had given me the wrong co-ordinates!

In Theramore I picked up a quest to get some turtle tongues for some guys soup recipe - didn't sound too hard so I thought I would give it a go. Hard a hard time finding the turtles! It took me ages to get one tongue! Then Sweed joined me and we smashed some turtle shells! I was very lucky and soon I had all eight tongues I needed one after the other.

Sooper joined us with his new pet 'ThunderCat' and we rushed around killing turtles until we all had 8 tongues. We saw a shark but luckily we didn't have to fight it but we did have to deal with some tiresome Murlocks. While we were fighting turtles Sooper pretended to be dead it scared us pretty bad at first until we realised that he was faking it - naughty Little Fella!

We all went to find Private Hendel - luckily Sooper had a run in with him a few days ago and so Sooper led us straight too him. It was easy to subdue him and his tough friends ran away, I thought it was because they saw Sooper's face but actually it was because Lady Proudmore and her entourage had turned up to arrest Hendel. They were very nice to us and gave us all gold and a ring as a reward - I like Lady Proudmore she is a very nice person ;)

We all went to hand in the turtle quest and received some nice XP. Sweed was tired after fighting the turtles and private Hendel so he went to sleep. Sooper and I got a quest to kill Crabs in the Swamp of Sorrows. We decided to do it. Sooper said that he knew the way.

We ran through Dead Wind Pass and into the Swamp of Sorrows. It was a scary looking place. We met PaulDavid who was in the area he had something to show us. We ran through the marsh and encountered all manner of monsters. I nearly died when I was waylaid by about 6 creatures at once but luckily Paul killed them all with the help of Sooper and Wolfy!

There was some very very scary Monsters, level 44 ScaleBane Captains! I never seen something so freaky, but Paul seemed to be killing one after the other so it was okay ;)

We got to a place called the Pool of Tears and swam to a structure in the middle of the lake. It was called the Temple of Atal Hakkar - it was a very eerie place. We ran and then swam into an underground area and were attacked by a huge cobra and we all died!

Sooper was tired and so he hearthed out to sleep -_- I hope that he didn't have any nightmares about the scary swamp! I continued on with Paul looking for the crabs to kill for the quest. I was looking for 12 pristine crawler legs. We encountered some more Scalebane Captains and also an Elder Dragon Kin (level 45).

In an place called Sorrow Murk we saw a large dragon called Somnus (an ?? elite)

We got to the coast and after a problem with some overexcitable murlocks we started to attack crabs for their meat. The crabs were quite tough creatures but the job was soon done and I had all 12 legs. We called it a night - it has been a very busy but exciting day!

I hearthed to SW and sold all my drops, repaired my weapons and almost missed the bank which closed a few minutes after I left, I was their last customer of the day!

Day 8: 28_02_07

As soon as I woke up I heard a knock on the door, it was PaulDavid. He was asking if I wanted to go to Scarlet Monastry. I jumped at the chance and we were soon there and ready to go. I havn't any quests there but the XP and money are very good and the knowledge of SM will make it easier to do when I do have the quests :) Paul already had asked Sparticuss to come along and two new fighters, Zwanzig (40 Paladin) and Oracka (36 Dranei Warrior)

We spent about 2 hours in SM - I got 18,000 XP and a lot of gold from all the silver pieces and the drops - I was quite lucky with rolls for chests and I got new stronger wrist bracers. We battled through to one of the bosses the one with the whirlwind sword. Unfortunately we all died and then when we got back in there was a load more new guards - we fought through again almost to the boss but there was so many guards before the boss now in the hallway we got mobbed and died. About halfway through the second run I almost died my health was none existant - hanging on by a thread - I kept shouting 'I need healing' so much so that it sounded like I was rapping, "I.. I.. I... Need Healing!" :) Now down to three warriors we tried to help Oracka with his Dog Master quest in SM and almost made it but died again, there were so many dogs! We hearthed out to StormWind.

I flew to SouthShore and met up with Sooper and Sweed - we did a lot of quests I had already completed but it was good to get more XP - the quests were:

Snapjaw Turtles, Yetis, mountain lions and hulking mountain lions and we found a back entrance to the Alterac Ruins and got one Warmonger Ogre but at level 40 it was very hard for three of us and we only just survived!

We ran back to SouthShore and saw a gnome Overmark 1 Protector on the way - which was a funny looking robot. We all hearthed back to StormWind. Sweed took me to the Cathedral to show me how to get the First Aid Skill and we looked under the cathedral but there was nothing down the stairs :(

Outside the cathedral we sat around for a chat and then Sooper went to sleep. Aww the Little Fella is so tired -_- Look at his little boots ;)

Sweed took me to the canals to show me how to get the fishing skill and a fishing road. I practiced fishing awhile before bedtime after Sweed had gone. I will never go hungry again ;) and the food is free and I can sell it too ;) I got some brill fish, catfish and mud snappers :) Yummmmmy ;)

Attention: Horse Special ;)

I went to the Stables in Menthil Harbour to have a look at the kinds of horses that I can buy when I reach Level 40 + and have my riding skill - it will be expensive. The cheapest horse is 9 Gold pieces and the riding skill is 81 Gold pieces so I got to save 90 Gold pieces in total - I am 1/3 of the way there. My favourite horse for 9 Gold is the Black Stallion :) or the chestnut mare - oh dear... decisions decisions ;)
