Old Hilsbrad

Our group entered the Caverns of Time in Tanaris near Gadgetzan. We were going to explore the mystery of Old Hilsbrad. We each got a dragon to fly use through the caverns. We talked to some learned people inside and then explored a strange swirling portal like distortion in the caverns. We met an elf who gave us dragon's to ride again and we found that we had gone back in time to Hilsbrad as it was in the past, we flew over SouthShore and onto Durnholde Keep which in the present day is a blackened destroyed ruin. I was not happy to find that we would be the ones ultimately responsible for it's destruction. Lennard, Sooper, Rolyma, Areldrich and I had to fight our way into the fortified building and plant bombs in the prison complex to I guess release all the orc warriors imprisoned in there starving. We planted the bombs and set the complex ablaze. We went to try to release an orc leader called Thrall but didn't manage. I think we will have to travel back in time again another day to complete that quest so that Thrall can continue his destiny. I wonder why were are helping the horde!!!

The Steam Vault

Necroslayer asked myself and Rolyma to come to The Steam Vault as two of their party had left, they had already killed two of the Vault's bosses and wanted to beat the third. I was a little unaware of how hard the Vault was going to be before I agreed to go. Necro summoned us to the hidden area under Coilfang Reservoir in Zangarmarsh, the Steam Vault is very close to Underbog. After entering the Vault and seeing that the enemies were ALL level 70 elites I was very worried and rightly so. In the party were NecroSlayer, Balis and Aasle, Rolyma and myself. We worked our way through the baddies to the hall of the third Boss. The boss was a huge Naga, a level 72 elite Whoa! He got a power boost from taking magical energy from the aquariums that surrounded him in his chamber, even after only one tank he was doing 8000 dps hits. We couldn't beat him, maybe another day T_T
I found some information about Warlord Kalithresh in the library in Stormwind Keep:

A Fel Reaver as seen from the Air

Mana Tombs Update

We went back into Mana Tombs in an effort to beat the third boss of the Tombs, the Prince. We didn't defeat him last time we came to Mana Tombs T_T This time we had NecroSlayer, Evagoras, Rolyma and Hanlika - with 5 level 70's we were going to stand a much greater chance than before. It was still extremely tough but we managed to defeat the Prince.
The trick is to have the main tank (me) focus on the Prince while being healed. Then then others must destroy the magical beacons that the Prince creates as if they are not destroyed then the Prince's apprentices will appear and that is bad news all around. It's important to get someone with a very high DPS strength like a mage to blast the beacons as they must be destroyed as soon as possible.

My Little Warrior Friend: Glip

I met Glip in the bank in Stormwind City today :D He is doing very well and has a new sword. I have been questing with Glip sometimes over the last few months. Glip is a very friendly gnome and a nice friend :D Glip is in the Guild, "The Brotherhood of the Soop" run by his friend CoolioG.

Riding a Wyvern

I wanted to go to Halaa in Nagrand to buy a new sword 'Hallani Claymore' but the horde had taken over Halaa T_T In order to get the scared merchant to come back I had to work out how to get the horde out of Halaa. I repaired some of the flight paths and commandeered a Wyvern, usually ridden by the horde. From the wyvern I dropped bombs on the horde - luckily being assisted by other alliance fighters in the area. We managed to take over Halaa after awhile and the merchant returned. The sword is very nice so it was worth the effort and it was interesting to fly the Wyvern too :D The sword will be very useful in the future :D I like it very much!

Black War Tiger

The outcome of the Battlegrounds :D The Black War Tiger! Hooray my tiger is very nice and he is as fast as my epic horse mount :D He also has a big comfortable saddle and a 'cup holder'

Aww it's wonderful to finally get a tiger, he's a nice and cuddly mount and he only bites people's heads off when he is upset or hungry ;) Now all I need is that Netherdrake :P

Battleground Madness

I decided that I was going to spend a few days working over the battleground, Alterac Valley, Arathi Basin and Warsong Glutch. These are hotspots where Alliance and Horde clash on a daily basis. The best news is that we can get honor points and 'marks' (medals) awarded for service in the field of battle. I saw that if I got 30 marks from each of these three battlegrounds that I would be able to collect a Black War Tiger as a reward. I always wanted to get a tiger but I couldn't manage to get exalted with Darnassus even though I took them thousands of soil samples from Un'goro. I did ok in the battleground it's not the best playing with random players and not guildies as they always complain and some were quite rude! But needs must as the devil drives. It's quite hard for Alliance players to get marks fast as the Horde always seem to win the battles in these areas. However, there were some alliance wins. I was fighting the last boss in Alterac Valley when he died and the Alliance won. I also managed to get some flags for the alliance in Arathi Basin and Warsong Gultch. I bought a nice trinket with my honor points the 'Insignia of the Alliance' which helps me to dispell any polying (like sheeping or pigging) or frost or stun :D Could come in useful ;D

Also good news that LottoMiss's first Lottery for the Exiles went well and there was a record jackpot :D I not sure I will be volunteering at the Battlegrounds again for awhile but I might go back sometimes as there is still a cool shield for sales for a lot of honor points :D

Lottomiss arrives

Lottomiss will be helping out with the Exiles lottery over the next few weeks while Lottomaster takes a well earned holiday :D Lottomiss is a cute female Gnome who likes to run and play :D She is very reliable and won't spend the guildies lottery money buying a pony or anything like that :P Lottomiss takes her lotto responsibilities very seriously and has already passed her level 2 lotto exams :D If you see her around pass her some bread and cheese as she has a big appetite but don't think that any gifts of alterac swiss or cherry pies will be able to buy you favour with Lottomiss she will ensure that all lotto's are fair and unbiased :D

A Beautiful Day in Nagrand

Mana Tombs

Arel, Lennard, Evag, Ravencroft and I did Mana Tombs. It was very tough. We killed the first boss and the second boss but couldnt manage to defeat the third boss, 'Prince Shaffar' We spent hours and hours in Mana Tombs - hoping to defeat the Prince next time we go in!
I suggest 5 level 70's if you want to complete it - it is in Auchindoum in Bone Waste (Terokkar Forest)

Update: 70 Onwards

It's been a short while since I become a level 70 Warrior. It has taken a long time to get here and many adventures along the way. I will keep writing my diary sporadically when things of interest happen. Most of my time at the moment I am helping guildies to complete their quests, soon we will have quite a lot of level 70's in the guild. It would be nice to get 10 level 70's or more so that we could do big raid groups together as there are some hard baddies to beat still :D especially in Black Temple!!!

There are 2 pictures below of my last summoned mechanical yeti attack pets. I am hoping that Evagoras will make me a peaceful yeti pet if I can get him the materials :D The yeti pictures were taken after a raid group to sort out the Battle of Darrowshire - we won! I also added a picture of a caravan camp that I came across in Netherstorm, you can see my brand new shield on the picture (very strong shield)
